I didn't take the traditional path to tech — and that's exactly why Flow Innovations AI exists. I spent 20+ years as a Master Trainer building my own fitness business from the ground up. Before that, I was a bouncer at 21, a paralegal for 8 years in medical malpractice, and a web designer running my own branding agency. Every chapter taught me something different: how to read people, how to document for life-or-death situations, how to design things that actually work, and how to show up every single day.
At 44, a client I'd trained for five years — the owner of an aerospace company — told me to learn VHDL and offered me a job. I walked away from the only career I'd known, taught myself firmware engineering, and within months I was designing FAA-certified avionics hardware. I hold degrees in Graphic Design, Computer Programming, and Kinesiology. I've built safety-critical systems for Collins Aerospace, helped land a pilot program at Mayo Clinic, and shipped production websites in the same week my son was born.
